Inflammation of the voice box or larynx occurs from irritation, infection, or overuse of the vocal cords. The most common cause of laryngitis is a viral infection, which could last briefly or may be ongoing or chronic because of an underlying condition, such as heartburn or smoking. The main symptoms of laryngitis are a hoarse voice or voice loss. While throat pain usually goes away on its own, you may need to seek medical care if you have persistent throat pain that does not resolve within a few days. What Should I Expect from Laryngitis Treatment?
Laryngitis usually heals on its own in two weeks or less. Recovery from laryngitis typically requires voice rest and drinking plenty of fluids. In some cases, our medical care team may prescribe certain medications to speed up the recovery process. Some medications include antibiotics if laryngitis is caused by a bacterial infection; antifungal medications if the condition is related to a yeast infection; corticosteroids to reduce swelling and inflammation; and over-the-counter pain relievers to diminish discomfort.

I started my journey with Crystal Canyon in 2022. Tey are very informative and surgery was scheduled quickly. Well the day came for surgery and found out I had COVID. Surgery was cancelled. I got rescheduled for May of 2023, (this was due to my schedule not Crystal Canyons). When surgery came it went very well, I could not be happier. The results and outcome are life changing. Communication with the office is good. Doctor is attentive and takes time to explain things when you have questions. I definitely recommend and have recommended Crystal Canyon to other friends.
